What is Be Pro Be Proud?

Be Pro Be Proud is a workforce initiative designed to connect students, parents, and educators with skilled technical professions. Originally launched in Arkansas, the program has become a strong way to raise awareness of in-demand careers, and TCA is partnering with Be Pro Be Proud and other industry leaders to bring that experience to Tennessee.

Starting in Fall 2023, students can explore the concrete industry and many other technical fields firsthand. Be Pro Be Proud TN travels across the state in its signature truck, offering hands-on activities and workforce workshops. Students can learn about skilled careers available in their communities and even experience what it feels like to drive a concrete truck through a simulator.
